On 12 May 2026, FlowCentric hosted its annual Partner Awards at Waterkloof Country Club in Pretoria, South Africa. The event brought partners together for a morning focused on collaboration, market contribution, and shared success across the FlowCentric ecosystem.

FlowCentric CEO, Jacques Wessels, opened the programme by welcoming partners and recognising their contribution to the company’s continued journey. His welcome set a future-focused tone for the day, acknowledging the work behind the latest evolution of FlowCentric Processware and the role of partners in taking that journey forward.

The awards recognised partners whose work helps customers gain more value from FlowCentric Processware through stronger solution design, better positioning, and effective delivery. They also reflected the important role partners play in extending the reach and practical value of FlowCentric’s business process management (BPM) platform across industries, use cases, and customer environments.

Recognising the value of the partner ecosystem

J.J. Swanepoel, Director: Partners and Strategic Alliances at FlowCentric, welcomed partners to the morning programme and emphasised the importance of collaboration within the FlowCentric partner ecosystem. He noted that the programme included partner updates from Epiroc Digital Hub South Africa (DHSA) and MWare2Go, both of which had shared their solutions at the previous year’s event and returned to demonstrate the progress made over the past year.

Swanepoel explained that FlowCentric is actively encouraging partners to work together around client opportunities, with each partner contributing its own specialist capability. Rather than viewing one another as competitors, the aim is to build a collaborative environment where FlowCentric and its partners can provide stronger, more complete solutions to customers.

FlowCentric’s partner ecosystem brings complementary expertise and solutions together around FlowCentric Processware as the core platform. This creates opportunities for integrated, better-aligned solutions that solve broader business problems more effectively than isolated tools can on their own.

When partners understand where process management can create value, they are better able to help customers consolidate, integrate, optimise, and digitalise important systems and processes.

That matters in complex organisations, where operational work often spans departments, systems, approval levels, and compliance requirements. In these environments, value is not created by adding another disconnected tool. It is created by improving how work is managed, tracked, controlled, and completed.

The partners that succeed most strongly with FlowCentric are those that immerse themselves in FlowCentric Processware, make it a meaningful part of their product or service stack, and know how to position it in relevant client engagements. Strong partners do more than sell software. They understand their industries, identify where BPM can improve the way work is executed, and help deliver solutions that create measurable operational value.

For prospective partners, this is part of the appeal of the ecosystem. FlowCentric Processware gives partners a strong platform on which to build, position, and deliver relevant solutions for mid-sized and enterprise businesses that need better control, integration, and consistency across complex operations.

A keynote grounded in human-centred technology

The morning programme featured a keynote by John Megannon on the topic, Artificial Intelligence: It’s a Human Thing.

The session explored how artificial intelligence (AI) is often perceived as an almost alien technology, despite being fundamentally human in origin. AI is created by people, trained on human data, shaped by human decisions, and designed to serve human goals.

While AI can process vast amounts of data far beyond human capability, Megannon positioned it as a mirror of human intelligence rather than a replacement for it. His keynote brought a grounded business perspective to a topic that is often discussed in abstract or exaggerated terms.

Megannon is a respected business leader, technologist, and entrepreneur with extensive experience in enterprise-scale transformation across complex, asset-intensive industries. As co-founder and former Executive Vice President of Strategy at MineRP, he played a central role in building the business into a globally adopted mining software platform before its acquisition by the Epiroc Group.

His experience in aligning technology, strategy, and execution reinforced one of the day’s central themes: software creates lasting value when it is applied to real operational problems, shaped around how people work, and positioned to support measurable business outcomes.

Partner presentations highlighted practical application

The partner programme included solution-focused presentations that illustrated how FlowCentric’s software is being applied in practical, high-value ways.

Madelein Rabie, Integrated Solutions Manager at Epiroc Digital Hub South Africa (DHSA), presented progress on an asset performance and equipment maintenance solution developed with Epiroc Parts & Services. Built using FlowCentric Processware and FlowCentric TOKN, the solution supports maintenance planning, technician feedback, backlog management, parts forecasting, and operational visibility for yellow equipment on mine sites.

Designed for remote and offline use in mining environments, the FlowCentric Processware and FlowCentric TOKN solution helps address the operational challenges that arise when unstable connectivity affects field-based work.

Her presentation illustrated how focused product thinking can extend FlowCentric Processware into demanding operating conditions and help solve real-world problems while supporting the way people work on site and in the office.

Mich Martin, Group Chief Executive Officer at MWare Automated Business Solutions, presented MWare2Go, a solution that transforms service and asset operations through intelligent automation and full integration.

From ticket to quote, purchasing, receipt, and job fulfilment, MWare2Go connects each step into one streamlined flow. The session also highlighted plant, fleet, and equipment management, automated service-cycle tracking, customer self-service, and mobile field enablement.

As an end-to-end support ticket and job card management solution, MWare2Go helps optimise the operations of mobile technicians by providing real-time updates and visual dashboards for field technicians, clients, and management teams. It also helps reduce inefficiencies in repairs and maintenance, while integrating with Sage 300 and Technisoft Service Manager.
