Pretoria, South Africa, 31 August 2026 – FlowCentric today announced the official release of FlowCentric Processware v6, its enterprise business process management platform. The release introduces updated user, administration and process design environments, with support for on-premises and Microsoft Azure-based deployment.
For organisations managing approvals, documents and handovers across departments and branches, automating individual tasks addresses only part of the challenge. Work must move between people and systems with clear responsibilities, consistent rules and a traceable record of decisions. Processware v6 coordinates that work, connecting business processes with existing applications and external services.

Deployment options allow organisations to align Processware v6 with their infrastructure strategy. The platform supports on-premises and Azure-based environments, while integration capabilities connect processes with enterprise resource planning systems, external services and other business applications.
Artificial intelligence (AI) services can be integrated at defined points to assist with activities such as interpreting text, classifying requests and suggesting priorities. Processware provides the surrounding rules, routing and auditability, with human oversight applied where required.

For existing customers, continuity remains a design priority. Processware v6 retains core process concepts, and backward compatibility has informed its development. Upgrade planning should include assessing and testing customer-specific processes, integrations and configurations.
FlowCentric’s roadmap focuses on regular enhancements to the v6 platform, with the aim of reducing the disruption associated with repeated major version changes.
