With February being renowned as the Month of Love, many folks may have amour on their mind. Whether it be falling into, finding, keeping, celebrating or for the more cynical, slating it, love is a big focus this month.
After years of exposure to the world of process management I’ve found one starts to break everything down into process steps in your head. You find explanations to your children now include phrases such as "It’s a process" and "Everything needs to follow logical steps..." and other nuggets of wisdom.
Well everything is a process…isn’t it?
I admit, while much of life can be broken down into processes, all following logical steps, with clear beginnings and ends, it would seem love is the exception. Especially the ‘process of falling in love', which is so often unpredictable, exhilarating, idyllic, occasionally turbulent and one which regularly renders those involved goofy and unusually wistful on Monday mornings.
The process of falling in love seems destined to remain obscure and changeable. But that’s okay, we all need a bit of mystery and magic in our lives, don’t you think?
So whether you are looking for love or lucky enough to be celebrating it, we’d like to wish you all a wonderful, passionate, unscripted ‘Month of Love.’
